Cornerstone Youth Curriculum
At Cornerstone Youth, we want both students and parents to know what we’re teaching and why. We also know that many fellow youth leaders are looking for curriculum models they can adapt to their own context.
This post offers a transparent look at our Year 1 Scope & Sequence — the first run through our full six-year teaching track. Each topic is taught in a 3–4 week unit, using a modular format designed for flexibility and depth. You’ll also find short notes below explaining what we aim to cover in each strand.

Closing paragraph:
Our goal with this sequence is not just to “cover topics,” but to build a deep, gospel-shaped framework for how our students see the Bible, themselves, and the world.
If you’re a fellow youth leader, feel free to adapt this structure to your own context. If you’re a parent, I hope this gives you a helpful window into what we’re teaching — and why.
We’ll continue to post Scope & Sequence updates each year to share how the curriculum progresses and to encourage faithful biblical teaching for the next generation.
