Our Mission

Empowering Youth Through Scripture

Formed exists to shape students through Scripture and root them in Christ. We believe teenagers don’t need watered-down content — they need the full truth of God’s Word, taught clearly and lived authentically. Our mission is to disciple the next generation through a curriculum grounded in biblical theology, written in real time, and shared openly so others can follow the journey. At the same time, we aim to equip youth leaders with thoughtful, theologically rich tools that prioritize depth over hype and faithfulness over flash. Formation takes time — we’re building it one lesson at a time.

Our Vision

We long to see a generation of students formed by truth, anchored in Scripture, and fully alive in Christ. Our vision is to build a movement of youth ministries marked by theological depth, relational discipleship, and lasting transformation — not just emotional moments or cultural trends. As Formed grows, we hope to serve churches everywhere by offering curriculum that’s biblically rich, pastorally thoughtful, and proven in real youth ministry. We’re not aiming to go viral — we’re aiming to be faithful.

Who's Behind Formed

Formed is created and curated by Josiah Kenniv — a youth pastor, curriculum developer, and follower of Jesus with a passion for rooting students in the Word. I’m building this curriculum from the ground up while actively teaching it in my own youth ministry. What you see here is the real process — not a polished package, but a faithful one.

Our Exciting Journey

Follow Along

Formed began with a simple desire: to disciple students with more than just energy and games — to ground them in the Word and form them in Christ. What started as a curriculum for one youth group is slowly becoming something bigger. Each week, I’m writing, teaching, and refining lessons in real time, and sharing that process here. The journey is still unfolding — and one day, Lord willing, this work will serve other leaders, churches, and students across the country. For now, you're invited into the process. Thanks for walking it with me.
